Know Thyself
The mission of Gnosticism today is to fulfill and help in the way that it has for ages: to deliver the wisdom and methods needed for people to realize their inner Being, in other words to Self-realize. A progressive and multi-leveled program of studies and practices are offered toward this aim.
The Gnostic teachings reunify science, art, philosophy, and mysticism to revive and integrate the highest values of the human being. We edify the mind, emotion and action with the virtues and principles of the Being. Science becomes more human, art more sublime, philosophy more intuitive, and mysticism more objective.
With the support of a long-standing lineage of teachings and current Gnostic teachers, practitioners and community, we progressively connect with and develop ourselves as an Essence or Consciousness, as a Soul or True Human Being, as a Being or Spirit, and even beyond this. Little by little, we realize and live our true nature and the true nature of all of creation.
Created by Gnostic instructors in Portland, Maine, this video offers an introduction to Gnosis and the search for direct, experiential knowledge of ourselves and the deeper realities of life. It explores the purpose of Gnostic study and practice, providing an accessible starting point for those interested in understanding what Gnosis is and how it can be applied in everyday life.

The Initiator of Modern Gnosis
The man known as Samael Aun Weor was born March 6th, 1918 in Bogota, Columbia where at a young age he began studying everything transcendent. He learned from all the metaphysical schools of that time: Theosophy, Rosicrucianism, Hermeticism, The Fourth Way, etc.
On his path of initiation and internal awakening he would discover his mission to synthesize the ancient, timeless wisdom for our disintegrating age, so that we can have a lifeline from the microcosmos to the macro, through revolutionizing our consciousness, attaining experiential knowledge which is Gnosis.
